  BONNIE G. HERRING, CMCA®, PCAM®Bonnie G. Herring, CMCA®, PCAM® is a principal and the President of the community association management firm, The Select Group, Inc., AAMC® and has been actively involved in community associations since 1985 serving initially as a financial advisor to boards of directors and transitioning to a community manager. She has received the designations of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) through the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB) as well as Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) through Community Associations Institute (CAI). Bonnie is an active member of CAI. She has served on the national level and continues to serve our local chapter. Nationally, Bonnie served as Chair of the Managers Committee and moderated and facilitated educational sessions at the CAI National Conferences. Locally, she has served and continues to serve in many capacities including; but not limited to: educational facilitator and speaker, lead facilitator of the “Leadership Training Program” and “ABC’s Course for Community Leaders” (now known as “The Essentials of Community Association Volunteer Leadership”), Board Development Workshop speaker, Chair of the CA Day Education Committee, Membership Chair, Sponsorship Chair, Golf Committee Chair, Programs Chair, member of the Virginia Leadership Retreat Committee and Chapter Board Member. Bonnie was chosen by the SEVA-CAI Board of Directors to serve as Board President in 1991 and again in 2011. Bonnie’s continued dedication and commitment towards excellence in community associations has been recognized by SEVA-CAI by awarding her numerous Chapter awards.  |
