Employment Opportunity - Chapter Executive Director

Regional based non-profit association seeks dynamic executive director to lead a growing association. The association is a chapter of an international association, has a staff of two, a budget of more than $200,000 and membership of approximately 750 members, volunteers and business partners. The successful candidate must have strong communication and administrative skills, work effectively in motivating volunteers and providing strategic direction to the organization.

Skills and Qualifications:

  •  Strong verbal and written communication skills
  •  Excellent organizational and planning skills
  •  Successful, progressive, non-profit and administrative experience
  •  Strong visionary leadership abilities and motivational skills with board, volunteers, staff and membership
  •  Ability to organize, delegate and coordinate the work of the Association
  •  A proven track record of ability to work with volunteer boards and committees
  •  Develop and implement strategic initiatives and partnerships, including but not limited to: fundraising strategies; multi-media communications that promote organization’s work and community engagement; establish meaningful ways to engage current members and strengthen membership base
  •  Equipped with problem solving and consensus building skills.
  •  Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe), websites and social media

Additional experience preferred includes: fundraising, public relations, membership generation and marketing, financial management, publication management and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
