David L. May, Jr., AIA has practiced architecture in the mid-Atlantic for over 40 years.  He has lectured extensively on Architectural Forensics, Wind Resistive Design, Hurricane Preparedness and Moisture Control in High-Rise Buildings to numerous organizations, such as The Virginia Association of Roofing Contractors, Community Associations Institute, U.S. Navy, Virginia Beach Department of Permits and Inspections, Virginia Facilities Officers, American Institute of Architects and others.  He is the president of DLM Architects, which specializes in forensic architecture and replacement reserve studies for community associations, and he is a past president of the SEVA-CAI.
