Sands Anderson, PC Liz White has been practicing community association law for over 3 decades. She is the managing partner of the Williamsburg office of the mid-Atlantic law firm of Sands Anderson PC where she leads the firm’s Community Association Law team. Widely regarded as a thought leader in this industry, Ms. White has been inducted into our chapter's Speaker's Bureau and is a frequent speaker at CAI events on topics relating to community association law, and she is a regular contributor to publications such as HOALeader.com.
She is a fellow of CAI’s prestigious College of Community Association Lawyers, has been named one of the Best Lawyers in America, an Influential Woman of Virginia by Virginia Business Magazine, to the Legal Elite by Virginia Business Magazine, a best lawyer by Coastal Virginia Magazine, and she teaches a class on Community Association Law at William and Mary Law School, which is the only one of its kind in Virginia and one of only a handful nationwide. On the local government side, she served on the Board of Zoning Appeals for the City of Williamsburg for five years and chaired the BZA in her last two years on the board.
Liz has a commercial real estate and finance background and her practice includes zoning and land use which regularly brings her in contact with local governments.
