How long have you been affiliated with the SEVA Chapter?
On a committee since 2019, affiliated as a member since 2016.
In what capacity are you involved with community associations?
I am an association manager for United Property Associates.
Did you choose the career path, or did it choose you?
My dad was a maintenance man for a management company in Connecticut and I asked him to get me a job in the office for normal business hours. I was working in a casino previously. I got into the industry at 18 and have been doing it ever since.
What do you enjoy most about our industry or why?
I enjoy that no day is the same. I also enjoy the freedom of making my own schedule of when I am on property and/or in the office.
Where did you grow up?
Small town - Brooklyn, Connecticut
What are your hobbies?
Spending time with my family and DIY.
Name one item on your bucket list and explain why it's on the list.
I would love to go on a safari in South Africa. I would love to see animals in their natural habitats.
What is your favorite season?
Summer. July is my birthday month.
If you won the lottery, what would you do first?
Invest in my immediate family.
What is the best advice you have ever received? How has this advice helped you?
There is more room on the outside than there is on the inside.
Are you currently binge-watching any shows?
Grey's Anatomy because there are 19 seasons and it will not run out any time soon.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to enter your field?
Leave it on the shelf at the end of the day. Do not bring it home.
Would you rather fight 100 duck-sized horses or one horse-sized duck?
100 duck sized horses. Ducks are a bit aggressive.
If you had a time machine, would you travel to the future or back to the past? Why?
The past, who wants to be closer to death? I'd make some great investments and travel.
If you woke up to 5,000 unread emails and only had time to answer 100, how would you choose which ones to answer?
