JEANNE S. LAUER, ESQ.
Inman & Strickler, P.L.C. Jeanne S. Lauer is a Managing Partner at Inman & Strickler focusing her practice in the areas of Civil Litigation, Community Association Law and Commercial Litigation. Ms. Lauer joined Inman & Strickler in 2002 and has been a Managing Partner since 2008.
Born in Fairfax, Virginia, Mrs. Lauer received her B.S. from James Madison University in 1987 and her J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William & Mary in 1990. Upon graduation, she served a one year clerkship with the 19th Judicial Circuit Court in Virginia. She was nominated and accepted to the American Inns of Court, George Mason Chapter which promotes and recognizes excellence in the practice of law. Ms. Lauer has served as a featured presenter at the Virginia Judges Orientation Conference for new judges in Williamsburg, Virginia from 2006-2009.
Ms. Lauer is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Beach Bar Association, and the Southeastern Virginia Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (SEVA-CAI). She served two terms on the Board of Directors of SEVA-CAI, and has just embarked on her second term of appointment with the CAI Virginia Legislative Action Committee (VALAC). She lectures frequently on legal issues involving community associations having been awarded “Speaker of the Year” by SEVA-CAI in 2009. Ms. Lauer has also been a repeat guest on the WHRO program “HearSay with Cathy Lewis” providing information about community association issues.
Ms. Lauer is the proud parent of daughter Moira, son Connor and 2 oversized dogs, Becks and Bonks.
