Jeffrey A. Hunn, Esquire is a Shareholder with the law firm of Pender & Coward, P.C. He is a member of the Community Association Practice Group and concentrates his practice in the areas of Community Association Law, Insurance Coverage and Defense, Commercial Litigation and Collections. Jeff graduated from Auburn University in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree cum laude in Political Science. He graduated from the University of Richmond, School of Law in 2000 where he was a Member of the University of Richmond Law Review. He spent the next two years as a law clerk to the Honorable J.M.H. Willis, Jr. and the Honorable Richard S. Bray of the Court of Appeals of Virginia. He has attended the National Trial Advocacy College, Trial Advocacy Institute at the University of Virginia. He is a graduate of the 2013 class of LEAD Hampton Roads. He has taught legal courses at Tidewater Community College.

Jeff maintains a diverse practice in federal and state courts throughout Hampton Roads. He also represents clients in arbitration proceedings, mediations and administrative hearings. He has extensive experience representing community associations, developers, businesses and individual property owners in the interpretation, negotiation and formation of contracts, management agreements, leases, title and boundary disputes and zoning issues.
Jeff is an active member of the Southeastern Virginia Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (SEVA-CAI). He has presented several educational classes, published articles in the Currents newsmagazine, and has spoken at previous Legal and Legislative Update and Expos. Martindale Hubbell has rated Jeff an AV® attorney, its highest available rating for attorneys. Jeff was recently voted a Top Lawyer in the category of “Civil Trial”, an honor that was recently displayed in Coastal Virginia Magazine.
