  MARK DESROCHES, CPAMark DesRoches, CPA is the Managing Partner of DesRoches & Company, CPAs, P.C., which he founded in 1988 and is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Mark has over 30 years of accounting and auditing experience and specializes in Tax, Business Consulting and Auditing; with a concentrated focus on the Real Estate Industry. DesRoches & Company, CPA’s, P.C. is proud to be an active member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and has been since 1988. Throughout Mark’s years of involvement with SEVA-CAI, he has been awarded the President’s Award, Speaker of the Year Award and Distinguished Service Award. In 1999, Mark was named to the Southeastern Virginia Chapter of the Community Association Institute’s Hall of Fame. In 2017, Mark was inducted into the SEVA-CAI Speakers Bureau. Mark served as the 1994 President of the Board of Directors for the SEVA-CAI and has also served more than ten years as a Board of Director member of three condominium associations located in the Hampton Roads area. Mark believes strongly in giving back to the community and has served on various Boards throughout his professional career. He currently serves as Vice Chair of Finance for the Salvation Army of Hampton Roads and on the Board of the M.E. Cox Center for Elderly Care. Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Virginia Tech. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Virginia State Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA).  |
